Some of Our Acts of Kindness

Education

  • Thanks to our suppliers, our team, our friends and, of course, our customers, the kids from Kainja Primary School have been fed for a whole year!

  • Circle of Generosity helped a mother aspiring to take ESL classes, but who could not do so unless she was able to pay for child care.

Food Insecurities

Circle of Generosity partnered with Monica Morales of PIX11 to donate $2,000 to a breast cancer survivor, helping her restore her kitchen with appliances, dishes and food.

  • Our donation enabled the Albanian American Open Hand Association Food Bank to continue serving its community when funding had dried up.

  • “Thank you for the gift of the oven. My children and I are very happy to have it. They are very proud that it comes from someone in the US. Thank you for your kindness.”

Housing

  • Our donation supported one family for 6 months at a new community-based living experience called LIV.

  • Circle of Generosity gave much-needed help to a woman whose home and possessions were seriously damaged by the floods that ravaged Connecticut in August 2024.

  • We provided assistance to a young mother who had recently moved from a shelter to her own apartment, but who then suffered a massive stroke and was in desperate need of help with rent, clothing, food and school supplies for her children.

Medical Crises

“I was so overwhelmed by your donation and expression of kindness that it brought tears to my eyes. I can’t express how truly thankful I am.”

Assistance in Challenging Times

Circle of Generosity was there to help during the COVID crisis, committing $100,000 for food insecurity during the pandemic. Contributions went to individual families, as well as to The Shelters of Saratoga, the Pittsburgh Food Bank, Franklin Community Center, and more:

  • Circle of Generosity provided food and rent support to a Bronx family when the breadwinner of the family succumbed to Covid-19.

  • Circle of Generosity gave support to a Pennsylvania family that faced the loss of their utilities due to COVID-19 job losses.

  • Circle of Generosity worked with the Santa Fe Community Fund and MoGro, a food relief initiative within the Indigenous communities of New Mexico.

During the Russia/Ukraine conflict, Circle of Generosity has provided aid to Ukrainian refugees in Poland and those who have fled to Western Ukraine from their homes in Eastern Ukraine. Their homes have been destroyed, families sometimes separated, and all in dire need of food, clothing and shelter.
